You’ve served us. Now it’s our turn to serve you.
Our Federal Employee & Military Loan Assistance Program is designed to support Capital CU members affected by the government shutdown. Qualified members can now apply for a special 90-day signature loan with a 1% simple interest.

 

Program Details:

  • Current Capital Credit Union members who are federal employees, (including military personnel), currently not receiving paychecks due to the shutdown may apply for this loan

  • Direct deposit record or proof of federal employment or military status (e.g., furlough letter or paycheck statement if there is no direct deposit)
  • Max loan amount will be based on the total of your two most recent paychecks

CreditLoan Repayment:
  • You have 90-days to repay the loan in full, including the simple 1% interest
  • No payments are required until the end of the term
  • Early repayment is allowed without penalty 

All loans are subject to full underwriting (Including credit check), approval, and applicable limits. If the shutdown extends beyond the repayment period, you may contact us to discuss possible extensions or hardship accommodations.
 
 

Apply for the Federal Employee and Military Loan Assistance Program

  1. Complete the signature loan application available online, or stop into any of our branch locations.
  2. Submit required documentation (proof of federal employment or military; direct deposit to Capital Credit Union is sufficient).
After your application is submitted, your loan request will be reviewed and approved funds will be disbursed directly into your account.
