Teller Positions

Tellers are the first point of contact for members who visit our branches, so they have the opportunity to make a great impression on everyone who comes through the door. We believe in going above and beyond "great service" to become financial advocates for our members. This means in addition to assisting members with the transaction they came in for, we also want to help them improve their financial situation. Our Tellers strive to do the right thing for each member by informing them about products and services that benefit their unique situations and referring members to Capital Credit Union specialists that can take their financial well-being to the next level.


We are looking for applicants who have a passion for helping people combined with the ability to effectively learn and use our computer systems and software to serve our members efficiently. Our ideal candidates have high attention to detail and accuracy. Previous cash handling experience is a plus!


Current Teller openings are listed below:

(Full Time: 37.5-40 hours/week; Part Time: 20-29 hours/week; Limited Part Time: 19 hours/week or less)

Branch Manager - College Ave. Branch (Appleton)

The Branch Manager is responsible for the quality and efficiency of service and sales delivered by the branch and ensures that all employees are following the credit union's vision and mission. The Branch Manager is also responsible for the branch building, functionality, and appearance, including safety and security. This person supervises employee performance, promotes staff development, solves problems within established policies and procedures, assists members when necessary, including handling complex issues and complaints, and assists the management team in analyzing financial information regarding branch operations.


The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of the products, services, and procedures of the Credit Union, strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, coach, and develop others, the ability to delegate as needed, the ability to make high level decisions and research and resolve member and employee issues, strong diplomatic interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with a diverse group of members and employees in high stress situations, and the ability to practice professionalism and project a professional image in a financial environment. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

This person supervises employee performance in, and the daily operation of, the teller area, and assists members in person, through drive-ups, or by telephone, providing a broad range of Credit Union information. Marketing Specialist - Ford (Kimberly)

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing the strategies to promote the overall image of the credit union and its products and services. Primary responsibilities will include providing ideas for campaigns; coordinating campaign elements; designing ads and signage; communicating with vendors, employees and members; connecting with members and potential members via social media; analyzing media channels and managing budgets; assisting with events and charitable activities; and looking for opportunities that promote the Credit Union philosophy.


The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Quick thinking and flexible under stressful situations. Must be able to be a self-starter but still able to take some direction and work together as a team. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Skilled at public speaking. Ability to lead teams of all sizes. Creative thinker. Professional in mannerisms. Excellent project management abilities. Knowledge of local advertising mediums and strategies. Ability to adhere to guidelines and policies for allocated budgets. Three to four years of previous marketing experience and one to two years of previous event experience is desired. A two or four year college degree is preferred (marketing or business-related). Must be able to lift heavy items and have a valid driver's license.

Mortgage Servicing Specialist (Eisenhower Branch in Kimberly)

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will handle all post-closing details of a mortgage transaction including funding and disbursing of mortgage loans. They may deal directly with title companies in requesting or receiving information regarding mortgage documents. The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will perform post-closing file reviews, set up and disburse escrows, prepare HMDA data for government submission, handle all construction draws, and perform document filing, researching, tracking, and imaging.


The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of credit policies and government regulations, strong analytical ability and credit analysis skills, knowledge of personal and business tax returns, strong organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of members, employees, and vendors in stressful situations.
