Teller Positions

Tellers are the first point of contact for members who visit our branches, so they have the opportunity to make a great impression on everyone who comes through the door. We believe in going above and beyond "great service" to become financial advocates for our members. This means in addition to assisting members with the transaction they came in for, we also want to help them improve their financial situation. Our Tellers strive to do the right thing for each member by informing them about products and services that benefit their unique situations and referring members to Capital Credit Union specialists that can take their financial well-being to the next level.


We are looking for applicants who have a passion for helping people combined with the ability to effectively learn and use our computer systems and software to serve our members efficiently. Our ideal candidates have high attention to detail and accuracy. Previous cash handling experience is a plus!


Current Teller openings are listed below:

(Full Time: 37.5-40 hours/week; Part Time: 20-29 hours/week; Limited Part Time: 19 hours/week or less)

Full Time Teller Floater - North region (based at Cardinal branch based in Green Bay)

As a Teller at Capital you are the face of the credit union. It's more than just processing financial transactions. It's building lasting relationships and helping others to improve their financial well-being. If a philosophy of "people helping people" fits with your personal philosophy, we're the place for you! The Teller Floater would also float from branch to branch on an as-needed basis (but would still work 40 hours/week). A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Mortgage Underwriter - Eisenhower (Kimberly)


Under the direction of the Vice President of Mortgage/Commercial Lending, performs the mortgage loan underwriting for the Credit Union. Reviews all mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy, and applies the Credit Union's lending policies to make sound lending decisions that benefit the member and the credit union. Has a working knowledge of the department processes and procedures.


The ideal candidate will have good math aptitude, great attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, the ability to interpret documents, define problems, and make decisions, the ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment when reviewing mortgage loan files, strong time management and organizational skills, and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of employees, dealers, and members in stressful situations. Previous mortgage lending experience and the ability to pass a federal criminal background check is required.

Mortgage Processing Specialist - Eisenhower (Kimberly)


The Mortgage Processing Specialist works as part of a team with the Mortgage Lenders in the origination, processing and closing of mortgages, creating a smooth and timely transition from application to closing for our members.


The Mortgage Processing Specialist will handle all pre-closing details of a mortgage transaction including preparation of disclosures, re-disclosures, and closing documents along with ordering services related to the mortgage file including but not limited to appraisal, flood, homeowner insurance, etc. They will work with Mortgage Lenders and members to obtain follow-up information. They will also work directly with title companies in requesting or receiving information regarding mortgage documents. The Mortgage Processing Specialist will assist with document filing, researching, tracking, and imaging.


The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of credit policies and government regulations, strong analytical ability and credit analysis skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of members, employees, and vendors in stressful situations.


This is a full time position.

Seasonal Mortgage Servicing Specialist (Eisenhower Branch in Kimberly)


The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will handle all post-closing details of a mortgage transaction including funding and disbursing of mortgage loans. They may deal directly with title companies in requesting or receiving information regarding mortgage documents. The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will perform post-closing file reviews, set up and disburse escrows, prepare HMDA data for government submission, handle all construction draws, and perform document filing, researching, tracking, and imaging.


The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of credit policies and government regulations, strong analytical ability and credit analysis skills, knowledge of personal and business tax returns, strong organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of members, employees, and vendors in stressful situations.


This is a Seasonal Full Time position to assist the department during summer and/or winter breaks.
