Capital Food Drive Feeds Hungry and Cares for Animals

KIMBERLY, Wis. – Thanks to Capital Credit Union’s members, employees and others in the communities we serve, we again topped our Food Drive goal in July, collecting more than 4,000 pounds of food and pet care items to benefit area food pantries and animal care associations.

Along with donations of food, monetary donations of over $1,500 made it possible to purchase a variety of food staples like peanut butter, canned goods, flour, baby food and formula, along with diapers for babies and food and other items for animals in area shelters.  Items were either picked up by or delivered to seven area food pantries and three animal care associations in Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet counties during July and August.
