Teller Positions

Tellers are the first point of contact for members who visit our branches, so they have the opportunity to make a great impression on everyone who comes through the door. We believe in going above and beyond "great service" to become financial advocates for our members. This means in addition to assisting members with the transaction they came in for, we also want to help them improve their financial situation. Our Tellers strive to do the right thing for each member by informing them about products and services that benefit their unique situations and referring members to Capital Credit Union specialists that can take their financial well-being to the next level.


We are looking for applicants who have a passion for helping people combined with the ability to effectively learn and use our computer systems and software to serve our members efficiently. Our ideal candidates have high attention to detail and accuracy. Previous cash handling experience is a plus!


Current Teller openings are listed below:

(Full Time: 37-40 hours/week; Part Time: 25-29 hours/week; Limited Part Time: 19 hours/week or less)

Mortgage Servicing Specialist (Eisenhower Branch in Kimberly)

The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will handle all post-closing details of a mortgage transaction including funding and disbursing of mortgage loans. They may deal directly with title companies in requesting or receiving information regarding mortgage documents. The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will perform post-closing file reviews, set up and disburse escrows, prepare HMDA data for government submission, handle all construction draws, and perform document filing, researching, tracking, and imaging.


The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of credit policies and government regulations, strong analytical ability and credit analysis skills, knowledge of personal and business tax returns, strong organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of members, employees, and vendors in stressful situations.

Member Service Representative Floater (based in Little Chute)

This person would work with our members to help them with both lending and deposit side needs. Strong customer service and verbal communication skills are desired. Being a good problem solver and having good technical skills is also a plus. The ideal candidate would have past teller and/or personal banker experience. This person will float from branch to branch on an as-needed basis. A differential will be paid for floating.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role at a financial institution. Qualifications include the ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed and sometimes technical instructions, correspondence, and memos and possess a strong math aptitude. This position requires the ability to pass a federal criminal background check and be listed on the Federal Mortgage Loan Officer Registry as required by the S.A.F.E. Act. Other qualifications include the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for over fifty percent of the work time, the analytical ability necessary to research and resolve member problems and determine the appropriate course of action, interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of members in various degrees of stressful situations, strong communication/listening skills to deal diplomatically and effectively with sensitive situations, strong motivation and sales skills, and the ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment when addressing member concerns. Must be supportive of the overall business objectives.

Teller Supervisor - Freedom

This person supervises employee performance in, and the daily operation of, the teller area, and assists members in person, through drive-ups, or by telephone, providing a broad range of Credit Union information. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of the products, services, and procedures of the Credit Union, the analytical ability necessary to research and resolve member and teller problems and determine the appropriate course of action in unique situations, excellent interpersonal/member service skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with sensitive situations, good motivation, leadership, and delegation skills, the ability to learn and use Credit Union computer systems, and the ability to practice professionalism and project a professional image in a financial environment.
